Born in Puerto Rico, Jaime Fortuno brings 33 years of coaching experience and a true passion for player development. Jaime’s journey has included formative stops in Verona, NY at the Turning Stone Resort, followed by Florida roles at Saddlebrook, IMG Academy, Inspiration Tennis Academy, and Midtown Athletic Club (Weston). Now based in Westchase, Jaime continues to learn alongside top coaches—most recently with former ATP pro Alex Bogdanovic—and brings those insights onto the court every day.
A bilingual (English/Spanish) and USPTA-certified coach, Jaime runs lively Beginner Adult classes and Cardio Tennis, and also leads high-performance junior programs. Jaime has coached USTA women’s league teams (3.0 & 3.5) to National Championship titles, captained Junior Team Tennis squads—Cheval Yellow Ball (2× champions) and Apollo Beach Green Dot (2× champions) and Yellow Ball champions—and travels as an ITF tour coach. Juniors under Jaime’s guidance have captured major results at Bobby Curtis, Little Mo, and USTA National events, with many progressing to college tennis on scholarship.
Beyond training, Jaime organizes tournaments and social events for players of all ages and levels, building community while sharpening skills. Coaching philosophy: teach clean fundamentals, footwork and patterns that hold up under pressure—and create an upbeat environment where players love the game and keep improving.
